OUR IMPACT

BAYAC AmeriCorps routinely surpasses many of its program goals and objectives. We provide high quality services to high-risk youth in Bay Area communities. Our AmeriCorps members make a huge impact on the lives of young people throughout the Bay Area.




Here is just a sample of some of the impacts our members made in the past year:

  • BAYAC AmeriCorps members tutored over 700 Bay Area Youth.
  • BAYAC AmeriCorps Health Educators worked with 11,266 youth.
  • 471 youth attended after school programs, keeping them safe from drugs and violence.
  • 90% of the youth gave the program a positive rating.
  • Youth in after school programs learned these skills: cooperation, goal directed, being responsible in the group, showing leadership, and being motivated to learn.
